Cast Plaques and Markers

For markers, dedications and signage

You often see cast plaques at historic sites. The reason is that cast metal endures in external conditions. It requires very little maintenance.

Casting is available in both bronze and aluminum. Although bronze is more expensive, it lasts longer. Aluminum may start to corrode and pit. We recommend bronze for extreme environments – like our coastal clients have.

Consider a cast plaque for markers, dedication plaques and signage. You won’t go wrong. We will provide easy instructions for installation and maintenance.

WHAT SIZE PLAQUE DO I NEED? It depends on what items you want to put on the plaque. Keep in mind that cast plaques have minimum sizes for: letters, line thickness, spacing between letters (kerning) and spacing between lines (leading). These minimums are required to allow proper casting. Once we do the cast layout, you will know the minimum size. The maximum size is up to you and the limits of casting.
